Got to love those high school reunions

This weekend (the long weekend) I am heading off to my high school reunion. Can you image? Haven't seen some of my friends for 40 years or more! I am really excited about it and look forward to catching up and re-connecting to those who I grew up with. I am not going to spaz about my looks/weight/or anything physical about me. I will not judge or raise my eyebrows at others either. Life can take a toll on you...you never know what your friends have been through. I want this to be a reunion of spirits. I realize that we all age (on the outside) but inwardly we are timeless and I want to celebrate that infinite connection. God placed us in a certain family, in a certain location, and in a certain time frame. Let's engage in each other spiritually and laugh, sing, and dance with friends of long ago. I look forward to telling them that I am not who used to be, I am a Christian now and my whole life evolves around that fact. May I be sensitive to others life stories, struggles and triumphs as we journey through life together.
