Borders up...borders down...

We all need borders in our life and we need to know when to put those borders up (or say that is enough, stop now) or let our borders down (go beyond our comfort zone and step out of ourselves.) It is a hard thing to learn just where our boundaries are. We must respect ourselves and respect others to do this. It is o.k. to say no if you feel uncomfortable about something or know if it is not right to do. We have a responsibility to be true to ourselves. No one can tell you how you feel or what is right for you. We are all unique and all have our own moral compass and what is right for us. No on else sees things, hears things or feels things like you do so don't do things for others or yourself out of manipulation or guilt. Those two things, manipulation and guilt are not good motivators. On the other hand to go beyond our borders is a good thing. It is something that you yourself choose to do and can result in more creativity, more compassion and more growth to your personal self. Borders are good and our built into us for our own safety and momentum. Check your borders today and be in charge of your own journey. Adhering to your "borders" can be life changing.
