I loved this book
At our age we are more prone to head off to the doctor for pain relief and just plain preventative pains. We must learn to be proactive and take care of ourselves better. Dr. Sheff is the kind of doctor that I would love to have. He is kind, sensitive and very knowledgeable. I loved the fact that he shared his diagnosis with his patients. He expresses true concern and patience with his patients and we all need a huge dose of that don't we? He is a man of noble character and his heart reaches out to his patients. I especially love his footnotes of medical terms and procedures. At first when I read they were included I thought, ya right, that will be boring and only doctors will be able to understand them. But I was proven wrong. I read every single one of them and I learned a lot. Thank you Dr. Sheff for including them and educating me further in the field of medicine. I think you will be surprised and delighted when you get a copy of this book and read it through. I pray all medical students and practicing doctors will do the same. If they read it and take it's message to heart the healthcare system will certainly benefit from it.
