She is a hoot....

Right now Abby is chewing on my toes and diving through her toys, squeaking and trying to get my attention to come on and play. She loves to run, jump and dive into life. She has a lot of toys to choose from but her all time favourite is a bird that we got from PetSmart that sounds like it has tissue paper inside of it when she bites down. She grabs that bird, tears off on an adventure and then puts all four legs straight out and slides to a stop, just like a baseball player that is sliding into home plate. She sleeps with that bird and wants to know where it is at all times. She had a pretty good night last night sleeping, although a lot of the night was spent under my chin. She is learning to become one of the "pack" when she eats and I find it so much less frustrating when I feed all the dogs together. The older dogs have been more than gracious to her because I know she can be a little "pain" and needs a lot of attention. I found a little rubber ball in the basement for her chew on that is just her size. (a mini ball really). She has tennis balls but her mouth is just too small to carry them around although she rolls and tumbles over them when you gently roll them across the floor. We had to put a little bell on her x-small collar (which by the way is white with tiny pink/light green flowers with sparkles all over it) so we can hear her coming and find her when she decides to "deepen" her adventures. Sometimes we call her "Tinkerbell" and after she has done her business we call her "Stinkerbell" but must refrain from multiple names and address her as Abby so she will learn her true name. She just whisked by with her birdie heading for the kitchen and if I don't intervene her birdie will end up in the middle of the food plate and we can call it "Stinkerbell." Anyhow, I will keep you posted of her antics and please have an awesome and safe weekend. Blessings to you all.
