Oh my, to wake up to that little face and that warm, cuddly little body is such a treat. Miss Abby had a good night and guess what? Last night around ten-thirty, after she had exhausted all the humans in the room and annoyed her bigger doggie siblings she just went over to basket, lifted her little paws to the top of it, whined and wanted to get inside. I turned on her heater and hoisted her gently over the side, covered her with her blanket and she was out cold. This is the second night in a row that she has put herself to bed. I added a little teddy bear to her collection of bedmates and she is taking to him quite well. She was sound asleep until about 3:00 a.m. (that seems to be the magic number) and then with a little cry she needs to be let out and off she goes to her paper. She looks like a tiny hamster scurrying quickly across the floor to get her job done. Her tinkling bell tells me her whereabouts and that she is returning to get a little cuddle from me and then back into her basket again. I am trying to train her that her basket is her bed and although she is cute I need my rest and sleep too. She is now curled around Elijah and he is snoring his little head off and it seems that she doesn't mind a bit. Have an awesome day. Kiss your pets today.
