My peaceful, sweet tempered Abby turned into a tiger yesterday. She was so wound up that she couldn't calm down. She ran, she ripped, she was in attack mode to the other dogs, she let herself go. Wow! I picked her up to give her some time out and she continued her naughty behaviour and I had to intervene and give her a shake and with a stern voice had to discipline her. Never saw that side of her before. Both her ears were turned back and close to her head and she looked kind of devilish. After putting a stop to that aggressiveness she calmed down and became her darling self again. No one is allowed to hurt anyone in our home....her included. It is hard to be 8 weeks old and not know the rules, but me, as the momma of the pack, has a responsibility to teach her how to live within our family rules. It will take time, commitment and a lot of love to get those rules into her little head but it will be so worth the trouble. I want Abby to grow up to be a kind, loving dog, giving obedience and submission when necessary to protect herself and the rest of us. Have a great day everyone! Go kiss your pets today even if they are naughty sometimes. Gotta love them to bits!
Dancing shoes are requirement here. Living life to its fullest a must! Be savvy, be teachable and learn all that you can. Read lots, invest in things of the heart and laugh hysterically. Spin and twirl, not out of control, but to feel the wind on your cheeks and your hair spiraling like an ocean wave. Feel the music, dance to the beat, engage in life, be free and never ever give up! Dance with life.
