The weather is glorious and it's outside we go

Abby went out for the first time ever for a walk yesterday.  She looked at her leash, had no clue what it was and decided what the heck let's go for it.  She ran most of the way enjoying the breeze in her hair and the feeling of freedom as she tried to keep up with the bigger dogs.  She had muddy little paws, a sense of determination as she forged ahead and was tired out by the time the walk ended.  She did not like the pauses when I tired to pick her up and carry her.  She wanted to do her thing and be part of the pack even if it meant being exhausted.  It was a good success.  She enjoyed the adventure and I will keep introducing her to the great outdoors and the follies of being on a leash while out there.  Kiss your pets today and have an awesome, awesome day!
