Helped our second daughter move yesterday. The day was hot, muggy and unforgiving as we organized, packed things and help find spaces for them on the moving truck and other vehicles present.
It was a long day with little people who were impatient and needed tending to. I am sooooooo, did I mention....sooooooo glad to be home, be quiet and be able to go back to normal.
I am feeling a tad-bit tired today but Abby and the gang are raring to go because I was out of the nest yesterday and estranged from the pack. She has already brought me my shoes, her toys, her blanket and says...."You're mine again so what shall we do today?
We kept my daughter's seven month old baby for two nights (he is almost the exact age as Abby as he was born Jan. 2 and Abby was born Dec. 29th). He was a doll all through his stay at grandma's and but you forget how intense small-baby motherhood is.
It is going to be a great day ahead, with a quiet, calm factor that I will relish. I am so happy for this time of my life when I can retreat and have my own time without feeling guilty. God gave us great times in our lives for child-bearing, child-rearing and then finally, back to ourselves. Yeah God....you are so wise and I get it now. Have a blessed day. Kiss your pets and sneak some time for yourself today as I am doing. Cheers!
Man, it is now the afternoon and I just edited this post. The mistakes I had were incredible! Must have been still reeling from yesterday's stress. Anyhow, edited it is and hope your day is going good.
