Just winding down from attending my mom's 90th birthday party. It was so good to see all of the family again and celebrate her life. You wonder where the time goes? It just seems like yesterday we were living together, mom, dad, and their three girls. Now we are all scattered, one sister is an angel and our kids are everywhere.
This picture is of my mom, her youngest sister and her brother - three still surviving out of a family of eight kids. Each one of them have had an encounter with cancer and still smiling on. We must love and appreciate our family while they are still with us. We must go out of our way to be a blessing to them. Life flies by so quickly and before you know it they are gone - or you are. Tell them you love them. Lavish them with cards/letters/gifts/flowers/phone calls. Be there for them. Spend precious time in their presence. In a blink of an eye that person may go missing from your life.
