The other day when I was having my quiet time with the Lord I looked around and saw all the life and love that flows through our home. Nearly every room is buzzing full of life and happiness. My husband has an abundance of fish aquariums teaming with undersea life. My daughter has a room full of birds that she raises, breeds and tenderly takes care of. My kitchen has two parrotlets, three Russian dwarf hamsters and our beloved Uriah who is a chameleon. I look down at my feet and there lies our four little dogs and around the corner comes our two cats. Oreo our oldest cat is going on 22 years old. Our last cat lived to be 19 and our Husky, Kaleb lived passed 16.
God seemed to whisper to me that if I looked outside and peered into my front or back yard I took would see His love abounding in our gardens. OMG I forgot that we also house a mud-turtle, two geckos, a Chinese bearded dragon and another lizard type animal which I cannot remember the name of that belong to my son. God whispered to me that our family does indeed live in our own Garden of Eden and he is pleased with us that we are tending to his creatures here on earth. My husband diligently feeds the birds and squirrels out back and yesterday in the backyard you would not believe the activity as the weather dropped in temperature. We are blessed to be able to take care of these critters and have learned so much about God's magnificent nature.
Remember to kiss your pets today and be thankful for your little part in being God's hands and heart as you care for the animals He has bestowed to you.
Blessings to you today and always.
