Is there rain in your life?

We all have those days when we sit inside and look out on a bleak, gloomy, rainy day and wonder...why did I even bother to get up?  You sit and ponder about your life and where it is going.  You ask yourself questions that probably cannot be answered and that makes you even more down.  Rain can be a reflection of your very soul.

There are definitely "rainy day words" that can plague your emotions, reactions and morale.  Here are some of those words to watch out for:

* loss (both of people and pets),  *sadness,  *disappointment,  *grief,  *you're fired!,  *sit down I've got something to tell you,  *no,  *go away, * come here,  * negative criticism, *eviction,  *financial problems, * an accident, and the list goes on and on.

These types of words can send you spirally down and actually put a cloud-cover over you.  Everyone on this planet has "rainy day words" that cause them pain and heartache.  No one is exempt!  It is what you do with these words and how you file them away in your heart that will make all the difference in the world.

First of all you have to take the word in and then "breathe."  You must ponder on that word and process it from your mind into your heart.  Then you must exchange that negative word and negative impact it will have upon your mood (not to mention your health). You must willfully turn your mind to something positive to dwell on.  Gratitude and thanksgiving are the two "sunny words" that can destroy those words and feelings.  Look around you and start being very grateful for everything, home, food, family, friends, you name it.  Reach out and help someone in need, there is always someone way worse off than you.  If you can't get out send an ecard, a text, an email, be creative.  Listen to your favourite music...it soothes your aching soul and finally, find someone else to encourage along this path of life.  Do not get sucked into the cumulonimbus, black, thunder clouds.  Aim for the the cumulous ones that are white, fluffy and make you happy. You can do this!

Have an awesome day and blessings.
