I finally got new glasses

Yes, I had to give in and get progressive bi-focals. I struggled with this, resisted and to my horror had to admit, yes indeed, I must submit and do this. I picked funky, cute frames, encouraged myself that my reading and writing skills would improve, and that who would know anyways? Well, dahhh, ME,, that's who! Anywho. It is done, My glasses have arrived and I look superb. I can actually read (once my eyeballs stopped orbiting and could focus). I will publish a new picture of myself soon and you can let me know what you think. Don't try to magnify me and find that line of the bi-focals. They are meshed into the glass so there is not a defining line there. HA ha. It is hard to get older but you must have a great sense of humour and take the plunge. Life is a carnival and it is what you make it. I love to laugh and I did have a good laugh (at MYSELF) when this benchmark arose in my life. I can see you laughing now....up close and far away.
