Dancing shoes are requirement here. Living life to its fullest a must! Be savvy, be teachable and learn all that you can. Read lots, invest in things of the heart and laugh hysterically. Spin and twirl, not out of control, but to feel the wind on your cheeks and your hair spiraling like an ocean wave. Feel the music, dance to the beat, engage in life, be free and never ever give up! Dance with life.

About Me

Do you love poetry? Do you own any poetry books? If you don't you should. Poetry is the language of the soul. It is a genre that causes you to dream, be adventurous and it speaks to your very essence. I personally love poetry and I have tried to install that love into my kids and now my grandkids. Shel Silverstein is a great poet for kids and Sherry Fitch also. I love to go back in time and enjoy the old poet masters. It is funny now that I am done school (where one is forced to engage in poetic literature) I can now, all on my own, sit down and enjoy it without ripping it apart and putting all the "school stuff" into it. I used to have a magnetic poetry calendar. I put it first on our fridge and then moved it beside the computer. I would make a line up with the little magnetic words and leave the rest blank. I found that my kids would gravitate to the calendar and add the next line, and another child the next. Most of the time it was cheeky, silly rhyme but it was a fun family activity. Sometimes I would find one of my kids would compose the lead line and it would happen all over again. I must remember to get another one of those calendars for 2012 and start to play with poetry again. Anyhow, it is national poetry month and I intend to read....poetry. I will share some of the books I am reading and perhaps inspire you to read it too. If you have a favourite please share it with us so we can indulge in your poems. Have a great day. Weather is changing here and it looks like rain. Just finished some work in the garden....who would think doing gardening in April...while living in Canada...almost unheard of! Pets all good here. Elijah a little under the weather and monitoring him closely. Everyone else is fine and bounding around now that I am back in from the garden. Kiss your pets today, hug them close and whisper a little poem in their ear. :)
p.s. you can order great magnetic poetry items at magnetic poetry.com
I have gotten a few of the smaller items to tuck into gifts for friends and families special days.
Check it out.
