Check out the difference in size between our "porkie" yorkie Elijah and our tea-cup plus size Abby Rose. I ordered a cute little deep rose coloured medium sized bed for Abby to sleep in a night. Elijah has his pillow and he has been sleeping on it for years. It is his turf, his pillow, his bed....period. Last night I got up around 3:30 to let Moses go out to the bathroom. He was prancing around and around and I knew enough to get up and let him out. When I returned to go back to bed I could not find Elijah. He was not on his pillow or laying snoring beside it which he often does when he gets too hot. I thought perhaps in my drowsy state he too had gone out and I had forgotten to let him in. I got up, went back to the door, peered outside and no Elijah! I looked around the room, went into the kitchen and looks about but no....he was not to be found. I went back to look around his pillow again and then I spotted him. He was stuffed...and I mean stuffed into Abby's little bed. Parts of him were hanging over the edges. Parts of him were not being allowed to enter into his new found bed. I took one look at him and laughed right out loud. He looked utterly ridiculous...his head hanging over the side, his butt somewhere and my only regret? I didn't go get my camera and snap a photo of this 8th wonder of the world. It was a priceless moment which when my memory touches on it again will bring forth a giggle. Yes, even at 3:30 in the morning God has a sense of humour and can bring a smile to your face. What would we do without our pets? They continually bring a smile to your heart don't they? Blessings dear friends and kiss your own pets today.
