My days are filled with home chores, pets galore, homework monitor - last night did flash card review with my oldest daughter who is learning ancient Hebrew and on and on and on. Today I stopped and actually went out on a breakfast date with my husband. We did a few errands first and then actually....together....with no phones/computers/ pets/kid interruptions had a beautiful breakfast. Wow! Alone! Him and I! Wow!
We laughed and talked and enjoyed our little convertible car. We flew from event to event with our sunglasses on and hair flying in the wind. What an awesome morning. It is important to carve those intimate opportunities and not get bogged down in "life". I am ack home now so happy for the pause button and so happy to share time with the one I love.....alone.
